The Premier Direct Seller of Pet Products
    Volume IV, June 2006

    Bandit

    Dear Pet Lover~

I am very pleased to report that Shure Pets achieved a 2006 monthly sales records during May (nearly 60% greater than May of 2005). Our Pet Consultant recruitment continues to be strong as well. Since May of 2004, our Pet Consultant base has grown more than twelve times (since last May, we have grown more than 250%). We also increased our unique product line by 25% with our new Summer Cat-alog. The Cat-alog is available through your Pet Consultants and on our website (shurepets.com) in PDF form.

We are in the process of implementing phase III of our new backend software system. This will allow you to process your orders online and monitor your team sales. We are very excited with the system and believe that this technology will significantly aid your business going forward. We will be adding a zip code lookup that will allow for your customers to locate you geographically, by name or via ID#.

Also, we are working hard on the upcoming Jam-fur- ee. I encourage each of our Pet Consultants to attend as it will be both educational and fun. We coordinated the Jam-fur-ee to coincide with the Chicago Air and Water Show. More in-fur-mation on the convention is listed below in this newsletter.

Finally, remember to keep your pets cool and with plenty of water easily accessible as the Summer temperature begins to rise.

Phase III is currently being worked on. We are adding the newest products and breeds and are near completion of the replicated sites (where the customers will order from). Additionally, we have begun testing the portal sites (where the Pet Consultants will place their orders). Phase III will also include more efficient order entry, Pet Party and fundraiser order entry, order tracking and much more. The new system will include a zip code locator program that will automatically link potential customers and Pet Party Attendees to the replicated website of their local Pet Consultant. Shure Pets In The News

Gay and Mickey Pet Consultant of the Month: Gayellen D. (#816)

Gayellen D's. (#816 Simi Valley, CA) mother used to say, "when you love what you do, it's easy to do it well". Chris Gardner, who went from homeless to multimillionaire said, "there is no secret to success, it's the basics, find something you love. Something that gets you so excited you can't wait to get out of bed in the morning".

Gay states, "That's how I feel about Shure Pets. It's the business for me, everyone that knows me agrees. I have been a Shure Pets Consultant for about seven months now and it's the best decision I've ever made. Funny story how I found the company: sitting at my desk one day (I'm a receptionist full time), and the past few weeks the girls from Customer Service kept bringing me checks for the Avon Lady to pick up. I finally thought, 'that chick is cleaning up' - I gotta do something about this. I turned around to my computer, hit Google and put in 'Pet Parties'. Why you say? Because pets are my passion. My dog, Mickey, will vouch for that, he was an orphan once, and now he's spoiled silly. The same for all my friends' dogs and cats; Auntie Gay just loves them to pieces."

"So I researched the company and realized I had once seen an article about Shure Pets in the Daily News. I sent the link to my sister to see what she would say and she sent me back a resounding reply: 'DO IT, IT'S RIGHT UP YOUR ALLEY'. So much so, she even sent me the money to get started."

"To what do I attribute my success? A great team (The 'Shure Pets Pound'), my upline, and the best products on the market. Not one of my customers have ever said they didn't like something they bought. I have a repeat customer who buys the beef jerky logs just to hand them out to her friends. I love to do fundraisers and various events, and all I can say is Los Angeles, look out - Gayellen Davis, Shure Pets Independent Pet Consultant #816 is here to stay. And I'm going to be at the head of the pack in Simi Valley before you can bark or meow - it's purrrr-fect.

    Shure Pets Barks of Approval

"I received some of the Orange Mango Foaming Cleanser (#111) with my 'New Puppy' kit and decided to give it a try. I have to give it FIVE STARS. If you have giant dogs like my boys (full grown white Great Danes)- they are constantly dirty and it isn't easy to bathe them. Well, unless you want a bath too. I used the cleanser and cleaned around their ears and necks and chest and they just look SO good now! I cleaned their faces and spritzed them with some Stud (#120) fragrance and they just look and smell WONDERFUL!" -Tricia P.(#1199 Las Vegas, NV).

"Two years ago, [My dog, Emma] had to stay indoors at this time of year. Now, the allergies are easier to control with great food and grooming products. Emma is no longer on ANY medications! When I notice she is starting to have problems I use the Paramount Ideal Oatmeal Shampoo (#116), or to help control the inflammation caused by allergies I use the Paramount Emu Oil Shampoo (#132) and Paramount Emu Oil Spray (#133). She looks and feels great! Not only does her coat look great but my hands feel great after shampooing her! How often can you say that after shampooing your dog?" -Lisa Z. (#959 Green Bay, WI).

"I also want to share about the horse products. I sold all three products- shampoo (#130), conditioner (#131), and dressing (#137) to an avid horse person. She not only thought the size and price of the products was excellent, but she said a lot of [other] products don't live up to the claims, i.e. repel dust. She said as soon as she washed her horse, it rolled in the dirt, got up, and just shook the dirt off. She was amazed!" - Amy S. (#956 Visalia, CA).

"I have to share the success story of Bear's visit to the vet yesterday. Bear in mind, Bear is very skittish and afraid of most everything, including his vet visits. And, it was pouring down rain, another Bear scare. I applied several sprays of the soothing Baby Paw-der Spritzer (#119) an hour before we left and he got into the car and didn't shake the whole way there! Upon arrival, he got onto the scale by himself! In the examining room, he started panting, so I applied another spray. By the time his vet came in, he not only smelled baby fresh, but was NOT cowering under my chair- just lying on the floor as if he were home! Well my vet was shocked as she has prescribed Bear people [anxiety medication] for such occasions. I had planned a sales pitch having taken Cat-alogs with me, but didn't have to do any convincing!" -Susan (#1126 Fairfax, VA).

"I also want to give a big THANKS to The Pound for all the hard work they are putting in to rectify any issues. I have had the pleasure to have met with them in Chicago twice. If and when any of you meet them, you will see they are very passionate about Shure Pets and they do care about all of us." -Tracey F. (#303 Auburn, IN).

    Purr-fect Pet Questions and Answers

Q: Why does my cat "attack" me: A: This behavior is not a result of anger or hostility. Rather, it may be caused by a low stimulation threshold common to most cats, indicating a happy or excited feline. "Predatory-play behavior" is the name given for when your cat is found stalking at your feet. Cats have a natural instinct to hunt moving objects in the wild, and your feet are a mobile prey found in the household. Toys such as those attached to a string (Catnip Teaser #511) are helpful in preventing predatory-play behavior and still keeping your cat as happy as if he were chasing your feet.

Q: How can I prevent my dog from pulling on the leash? A: Although you may think you are the only one suffering from the arm yanking, your canine is also putting heavy amounts of pressure on its neck and windpipe. The positive reinforcement a dog receives from pulling on the leash is the faster speed both of you are now forced to travel at. To prevent the discomfort and cease the unpleasant behavior, stop in your tracks as soon as you feel your dog pull. Refusing to move until your dog has calmed down will train him/her that the only way he/she gets to walk is if it is done politely.

Q: How can I stop my pet rabbit from chewing wires around the house? A: Chewing is a rabbit's way of preventing its teeth from growing too long (their teeth grow continuously throughout their lives). The best way to prevent the chewing of household wires is to provide the rabbit with something else to chomp on, such as a piece of wood or chew toy.
