Dear
Pet Lover~
As the seasons change, Shure Pets is enduring a wide variety of paws-itive
changes as well. October will feature a new, updated version of the Shure Pets
Cat-alog including many new, unique items that will cause pets and their owners
to purr with excitement.
In addition to the new Cat-alog, we have been focusing intensely on our Public
Relations campaigns. This will result in increased Pet Consultant exposure and
will assist us in our continual recruitment of Pet Consultants and maintaining
our sales growth. We are also preparing for the upcoming howl-iday period to
make shure your companion pets (as well as your friends and relatives) receive
all of your gifts from Santa Paws in plenty of time for the holiday.
We anticipate continued success with our Pet Consultants and customers and are
excited about our new Consultants ready to em-bark on their Shure Pets career.
As always, if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please feel
free to contact us as we look forward to, and depend on your input.
Thank you from the bottom of our paws,
Andrew Shure, Shure Pets, Founder

Shure Pets Happenings
Open up your local newspaper and you just may "spot" your Pet Consultant. That's
right, in the past month Shure Pets has been getting featured in various
newspapers across the nation. Lea F. (see above picture) (#0221 El Paso, Texas)
appeared in the El Paso Times regarding her Shure Pets business, as did Grace
L. (#0152 Manassas, VA) in the Free Lance-Star. Keep on checking
your local paper, you never know who or what howling- good Shure Pets story you
might see!
Mark your calendars now for the next Shure Pets University (SPU) Program. The
next SPU will be held on Tuesday, October 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the Shure Pets
Corporate Office, located at 1556 N. LaSalle, Chicago, IL. Following each
two-hour training session is Shure Pets' monthly "Meet and Greet" event, which
is open to prospective Pet Consultants. The "Meet and Greet" sessions begin at
4:00 p.m. Advance reservations are required for Shure Pets University (so we
can plan accordingly), which can be made by calling 1.888.SHURE.PETS; or
emailing SPU@shurepets.com. We hope to see you all soon and are looking forward
to the continued growth of Shure Pets University.

Featured Pet Consultant: Lynnmarie M. (#0053)
Lynnmarie M. (#0053) earned her college degree in business (with a major in
insurance) and has an insurance producer's license, a medical billing
certification and has been in the insurance industry for 11 years. Lynnmarie
currently lives in Highland, Michigan, with her wonderful husband Dan and her
four "fur-babies" Madison Bear (10 year old black lab mutt), Tebucky Jerome (5
˝ year old Shih Tzu), Tiki Ahanotu (4 year old Shih Tzu) and Americas Bunny (3
year old Netherland Dwarf rabbit).
Lynnmarie was raised in Gaylord, Michigan and due to her husband's job, she left
sunny Arizona and returned back to the Great Lakes State (although she returned
"kicking and screaming"). Lynnmarie describes her expeirence with Shure Pets:
"I was bound and determined to be able to work at home some day (so I would not
have to drive in the snow) so I started my quest to find a company I could grow
and build a solid business with. Joining Shure Pets is the best thing I have
done to help me in this venture. I have been in direct sales for over 10 year
and Shure Pets is by far the best company I have worked with. I love animals!
As a child I always had dogs, cats, birds, fish, turtles and frogs. I love
working with Shure Pets because they too love animals. They have wonderful
products and they are a company of integrity."
Lynnmarie explains "I love talking to people and when you talk to people about
their pets their faces light up with an unexplainable glow. I don't see my
Shure Pets business as just a money business, I see it as helping people take
care of their best friends and that makes me feel good, the money is definitely
a bonus. In the year to come, I hope to grow my Shure Pets business by leaps
and bounds with the hopes of becoming a stay-at-home mom. Thank you Shure Pets,
I am honored to be a part of your company!"

Shure Pets Receives Barks of Approval
"I
received my New Puppy on the Block Kit and Winston, my Basset, thought
everything in it was for him. I gave him some of the Caillou's Vanilla Bean
Treats and he LOVED them! I'm really looking forward to em-barking on this
journey." Suzi H. (#0266 Louisville, KY).
"I have a friend who does another direct sales company and loves the product,
but I have found out the consultants in this area are having a hard time
drumming up interest/parties. However, with Shure Pets, there's a passion that
dog/cat owners have for their pets. I'm meeting a lot of new people with this
passion and it's so refreshing!" Tracy W. (#0214 Fishers, IN).
"I think the medicated lotion is awesome, and it smells nice. I think it works
great and would definitely recommend it for your customers. I have used it for
small animals and my own pets. I don't trust anything else for my rats and it's
safe. This is a must with the Paramount Medicated Shampoo. It works that much
better when you combine the two." Randi S. (#0066 Napperville, IL).
"It's about time there's a company for animals like this.....I'm soooooooooo
happy to be with such a great company & I just got the Pet Urn. Can I say WOW,
it is sooooooooo beautiful." Mary F. (#0228 Owego, NY).
"I can't say enough about the products or the people at Corporate for Shure
Pets. Everything is wonderful." Sharen S. (#0048 Fortville, IN).

Shure Pets Products of the Month
September Feature Products of the Month are: Beauti-fur Coat Vitamins, Paramount
Preferred Bird Spray and Paramount Medicated Lotion.
Beautifur Coat Vitamins (#203) ·Use to make your cat or dog's coat
healthy and shiny, with a smooth skin appearance. ·Comprised of pure, natural
vegetable oils derived from the Evening Primrose plant. ·Natural source of
Omega-6 fatty acids (reduces scruffy, dry coats and cracked pads), and contains
organic flax seed and Vitamin C.
Q: Why does my pet need vitamins? Isn't all he needs in his food?
A: Most premium pet foods do provide adequate basic nutrition, but many do not
give the pet everything it needs for optimum health, especially if your pet is
active, stressed, or is a working pet. The addition of a vitamin will result in
sharper features and is "shure to make your pet smile".
Preferred Bird Spray (#118) ·Make your birds chirp with joy with this
spray that not only removes scales, tightens feathers, cleanses oil sacks and
prevents excessive molting, it also contains Vitamins A, D, E, wheat germ oil
and bee pollen. ·This product does not discolor plumage and contains no
alcohol.
Q: Are there a large variety of birds?
A: There are approximately 9,703 species of birds divided up into 23 orders, 142
families and 2057 genera.
Paramount Medicated Lotion (#102) ·Use on dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets
·Use Paramount Medicated Lotion in between baths when your pet has dry skin
conditions (hot spots, moist eczema, moist dermatitis, odors caused from
organic sources and seborrhea). ·Medicated to sooth your pet from dry, itchy,
flaky skin. ·Paramount Medicated Lotion is manufactured with superior
ingredients that promote healing and comfort.
Q: What is a "Hot Spot?"
A: A "hot spot" on a pet is classified as an inflammation that is caused by the
animal's constant licking or scratching at an area until the area becomes bald
and damaged. It can be caused by several factors, but primarily it is
flea-related. If left untreated, it can develop into a bacterial infection.

Tips for Purr-fect Pet Health
As the daylight hours begin to shorten and darkness becomes longer, please be
careful when taking your dog for evening walks. A reflective collar for Fido
and a jacket with reflective tape for yourself will help passerbys see you
clearer. Additionally, you might want to carry a flashlight with you to keep
both of you safe and out of harm.
Cats and kittens occasionally climb onto recently run vehicle engines for
warmth. Before starting your vehicle, knock on the hood and honk the horn to
make certain your cat is not napping. Even if your own cat does not have access
to your vehicle, a neighborhood cat might have camped out there.
Rabbit Housing: Clean a rabbit's cage frequently (cages with dropping pans
should be cleaned daily and bedding changed every other day). Make sure the
bedding used is safe for rabbits. Stay away from chemically treated products.
Please take care to place the cage away from other animals that may frighten or
harm the rabbit. Finally, make sure the cage is secure and free from sharp
edges or anything else that may hurt the rabbit.
