School started over 2 weeks ago for most and by now you're settling into a nice routine of work, afterschool activities, and hopefully a full party schedule. If you haven't booked your calendar yet, what are you waiting for? A very wise leader shared with me the other day that she had her kit for a very long time and finally figured out it couldn't do anything on it's own. If she was to have success she had to put it to work. We encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and schedule a party this week. You could host your own party with family and friends and just see how it goes. We are always availbale to help you over any hurdle you might encounter!

Question of the Week: What excites you about your new Shure Pets business?
"I am very excited to do in home shows again. I also want to get into doing fundraisers which help a good cause. I think doing fundraisers and working with animals and people is what I am here for. I have always been told I have a "bubbly" personality (which I always took to mean a great, friendly, personality) so I feel like I should work with people as much as I can and I love animals too. I am not really in this for the money (which is nice), I am in it to help anyone who wants to earn money for a good cause and the fun of doing in home shows, which are very exciting!"

The Pound is available to help you in your efforts to build a team this fall.
We look forward to coming to your area for a Meet and Greet Recruiting Opportunity and helping you build your team!
This invitation is for those engaged in their business in a consistent manner and meeting certain criteria.
Here's is what you need to do:
- Tell us you are wanting to build your team and would like a visit and are willing to meet the following:
- Submit 2 parties a week through September and the first 2 weeks of October
- Submit $1500 in party sales (excluding shipping/tax) for the months of September

ARE YOU PROMOTING the PROMOTIONS?
Promotions are designed to help you grow your business!
Take a look at the September promotions. They are designed to help you promote booking parties and increase your party average! Parties beget parties and that is how you grow your business. Have you figured your commission on just 4- $400 parties in a month? Have you done the higher math? You should have 3 hours total in each party. That is just 12 hours a month and the minimum you would walk away with is $400! How would you use it? In addition, you would earn 2 (two) full size bottles of the shampoo of your choice!!
When you promote the promotion you create the sense of urgency to book now rather than later and you and yur host have a goal to shoot for!
Some tell me they are not interested in doing in-home parties and that's is entirely up to you. You can use the same promotions and schedule catalog parties! Know that when you sell on-line or through the cat-alog you miss the opportunity to develop a relationship face-to-face with your customer. You can still create the same good-will though. Be sure to follow up with every on-line or cat-alog order with a phone call; thanking them for their order and offering to help them in the future. Leave your contact information should they have questions or want to order more.
Promote any and all promotions to entice them to want more or to refer you to a friend.
Take another look at them now and think who comes to mind you might want to invite to take advantage! Hurry before they're gone!
