Dear Pet Lover,
On a daily basis, we receive a great deal of paws-itive feedback on our website, business model, and most importantly, on the Shure Pets product line. We are thrilled and want to keep spreading the word. If you are receiving this newsletter, most likely you have expressed some level of interest in Shure Pets, or are already one of our Independent Pet Consultants. Either way, I'd like to take this opportunity to give you some tips for increasing your selling or purchasing power with Shure Pets.
1) Identify a local non-profit pet organization and approach them about creating a "wish list" of items they need that are part of

Shure Pets' product line. Then, post that list in a common area within the organization and display Shure Pets brochures with a sign indicating the date and time that you will be at the organization to take orders and/or answer any questions about the products. It's likely that people will not only buy things to be donated to the organization, but will also make purchases for their own pets. Consider donating a portion of your proceeds (5-10%) back to the organization to show your support and appreciation for giving you the business opportunity. 2) Invite your customers to host a Shure Pets party. Or, if you would like host a pet party but don't have a Pet Consultant, contact Shure Pets and we'll refer you to the Pet Consultant closest to you. Remember that every host who books a Shure Pets party receives a $5 gift certificate towards Shure Pets products. And, for every $100 worth of products sold at the party, the host will receive a $10 gift certificate towards Shure Pets products. Don't forget that the more parties that are booked by party guests the more gift certiciates for Shure Pets products the original host receives. 3) Network with other people in direct sales. Maybe you can host a joint party combining both your product lines. Or, if you share leads that are appropriate for
their product line, they may, in turn, do the same for you. Another idea is to suggest sharing a booth fee at local events lowering your own investment, making it easier to make a profit. The Shure Pets team was featured on CBS2 Chicago during a live segment in the studio on the morning newscast on Saturday, December 6, 2003. Founder Andrew Shure highlighted some specific products, explained business opportunities, how
to become a Pet Consultant, and let Caillou sample the Brilliance toothpaste. Andrew, David and Caillou were present during the newscast and all had a lot of

Other media hits this month included a mention in a Crain's Chicago Business article about the booming and dynamic at-home-party industry, and the wide range of products that can be purchased through home parties.
The Chicago Tribune's subsidiary paper RedEye, featured Shure Pets line of wellness products as a great gift for pets this holiday season. The article mentioned our Brilliance Pet Toothpaste, Aromutt Therapy Shampoos and Doggy Defense Vitamins specifically.
Lastly, Chicagoland Tails, a local pet-focused magazine, featured the Shure Pets First Aid Kit along with other pet-related practical holiday gifts in its December/January holiday edition. A big welcome aboard the Shure Pets team to all of our new Pet Consultants! We look forward to assisting you as you em-bark on your Shure Pets journey. Recently Cynthia W. (Peoria, Arizona), Jo W. (Castalia, Ohio), Taunna J. (Normandy Park, Washington), Angela S. (Ferndale, MI), Richard F. (Denver, Colorado) and Carmel M. (Caldwell, New Jersey) joined our team.
With the addition of these six Pet Consultants, Shure Pets now has a presence in 17 states across the country. However, Shure Pets contineus to be proactive in recruiting new Pet Consultants nationwide while simultaneously assisting our current team in growing their downlines by recruiting new Pet Consultants.

During the month of November, the Shure Pets sales force expanded to include five more states (Arizona, New Jersey, Colorado, Washington and Ohio)! As a result, we decided to extend our "All-American Pet Consultant" campaign through the end of the year in an effort to reach our goal of recruiting active Pet Consultants in every state. There are still 33 states needing Pet Consultants. If
any pet lover becomes the first Pet Consultant from any of the remaining states listed, they will
receive a $20 credit on their first product order. This bone-us only refers to Pet Consultants who are not recruited by another Pet Consultant. Even when the temperature drops and snow appears, you should continue bathing your dog at regular intervals. Far too many dog owners refuse to bathe
their pup during the midst of the winter for fear that
their canine will get sick or catch a cold due to winter grooming. However, this is not the case. You can
safely bathe your dog in a bathtub during the winter, making "shure" he is completely dry before you allow him to play in drafty areas of the house or to go
outside. In fact, regular bathing and brushing of your dog's coat can actually help him remain warmer throughout the winter months. Why? Because clean hair tends to trap the air, keeping it closer to the skin, just like layering clothing assists humans in staying warm. Additionally, keeping the hair between
your pet's toes and pads neat and trim prevents miniature snowballs from collecting there. Regular bathing will also remove any salt that has accumulated in your dog's fur.
